Hello Brothers. I’m hoping y’all remembered to make a New Year’s Resolution or two. If not, may I offer a couple of suggestions. Adopt a fellow Brother Knight (well sorta) to look in on him, whether it’s a home visit, a phone call, email, text message. I suspect we have more than a few who would appreciate the gesture.

Another idea is to seek an outlet to grow in your Faith. There are three I can think of.

1. Adoration. Every Friday following 9am Mass and running through until 7pm, followed by Mass, Parishioners are encouraged to spend an hour with Christ in silent reflection. The greatest need is the 5pm and 6pm hour but feel free to drop by at anytime. Turn the cell phone off…HE’LL appreciate it!
2. Monthly COR Meeting: A few Brother Knights have been gathering at the Chwk Airport Coffee Shop the first Saturday of the month for fellowship and a generous helping of Faith discussion. 7am start time. Give it a try…
3. Monthly Rosary Prior to Executive (first Wednesday of the Month): We started gathering about 6 months or so ago at 6:30pm to pray the Rosary in the Church in advance of the meeting. We started in small numbers but, thanks be to God, have grown to about eight regulars. Again, phones turned off or on silent for the half-hour.

One other suggestion, if you don’t do it already is a daily Rosary or time of prayer with the family at home. This is something we started during COVID with an after supper Rosary and, six years later, I’m please to say is still going strong.
